About Kendra

Kendra has been making web apps since 2011, when she created Daily Dose of Dog, an app where users could view and submit photos of dogs.

Kendra has worked everywhere from NPR syndicates to San Francisco startups, building everything from personal 3D printers to Caterwaul, a version of Twitter designed exclusively for felines.

While simultaneously pursuing her master’s degree in data science, Kendra worked as a web developer at codeSpark in Pasadena, where she and the team put code in the classroom and empowered teachers to use games to facilitate learning.

When she isn’t trying to optimize her chores while listening to audiobooks at 2.5x speed, you can find Kendra learning a new hobby (currently embroidery), playing video games with her husband, or singing silly songs to her eight cats.
